The Jagong Mill has closely partnered with many small farms, which is where the majority of the country’s coffee has been grown since most larger estates disbanded in the 1870s. The mission of the collaboration was to push the clarity and sweet flavors of thee traditionally earthy and muddled notes of Sumatran coffee by closely monitoring the sorting and processing in order to separate higher quality lots. The mission was a great success and before us is an example of just how exceptional coffee from this unique land can be.
